Fall Ultimate
A new school year has begun and frisbee in Auburn is bigger than ever. Many different groups are getting their pick-up games established, giving everyone plenty of options. Those that have played before are eager to get back into an established routine with their group and newcomers are looking for a group to jump in with.
Auburn Ultimate is on the path to becoming an official club sport again and the timing couldn’t be any better. Auburn Men are coming off a season that included multiple tournament wins and its first Sectionals Championship in years. The Auburn Women are entering their 4th season and have a core of seniors ready to make the most of their final year. Both teams are poised to have great years.
Auburn Ultimate will be sponsoring pick-up games open to anyone wanting to learn more about organized/competitive ultimate. These pick-up games will be Mondays and Thursdays at 4:30 at the IM Fields. Bringing a light and dark shirt is suggested to divide teams rather than shirts vs. skins (girls play too). The games will be 7 on 7 with 5 guys and 2 girls most of the time. Water and Cleats are also recommended.
So come out to the IM fields and play some ultimate. Everyone is invited.
